About
I am a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, Australia, where I work with industry and communities to develop novel monitoring methods of the Great Barrier Reef. My current work spans artificial intelligence, environmental modelling, and citizen science.
I provide a range of freelance & consulting services and am constantly seeking to build collaborations and a strong network of ambitious individuals and organisations. My team and I connect corporate entities with researchers and not-for-profits with aligned values.
I enjoy writing, coding and teaching as part of my role, and have varied interests across the natural world, technology, human performance and business. I have taught across multiple universities in Australia covering statistics, wildlife and fisheries management/ modelling, physiology, ecology and professional development courses.
I have broad research interests across ecology and physiology, with particular expertise in bioenergetics. I have a background in biotechnology, marine science and fisheries, and use quantitative analysis and models to understand natural systems from individuals to ecosystems.
